Extra Details: Hi there, can you please change American Idol to be one show with all the seasons? Similar to other shows that have changed networks (Lucifer, Last Man Standing, etc.) they consider the show to be the same show even though it's on a different network. So this American Idol should be deleted and the content from season 16+ should be moved to the other American Idol series. The description can say both networks in whatever way makes the most sense.

My main reason is that streaming services that use tmdb api are unable to find streams for any of the new seasons of American Idol. Only services that use Trakt or their own list work correctly, and these services are few and far between. This is because they are currently on season 21, but the tmdb database doesn't have this season on their list.

I am aware that since ABC now owns the rights they have restarted the season numbering on their website. But I watch the show and they refer to this as season 21. They do this because they have returning contestants and often refer to the older seasons. It's referred to as season 21 on everything related to the show except the website on ABC.com. You just can't have two season 1 of the same show. It doesn't work with streaming services.
