In S2E06 the Injustice Unlimited make their move.

Artemis and Isaac attack Pat at the 'Pit Stop' and beat him to a pulp. The robot S.T.R.I.P.E. is decapitated.

Cindy (aka Shiv) captures Mike to use him as bait and lure the JSA into a trap. Courtney, Yolanda, Rick and Beth go to the cafetaria to free Mike and are confronted by the Injustice Unlimited. A fierce fight breaks out:

• Rick (aka Hourman) vs Artemis: 1-0
• Yolanda (aka Wildcat) vs Isaac: 1-0
• Courtney (aka Stargirl) vs Cindy (aka Shiv): 1-0

Beth (aka Dr. Mid-Nite) uses her goggles to locate Mike and frees him. He then attacks Cindy from behind with a toaster. The evil trio is down, but not out.

Cindy holds up the black diamond and starts to summon Eclipso. The Shade tries to persuade her to stop and hand over the diamond. It is too late, Eclipso takes possession of Cindy. Stargirl shatters the diamond with her Cosmic Staff, not realising that now Eclipso is finally released from its incarceration and no longer bound to any master. It takes on a physical form and kills Isaac. Shocked and frightened, Artemis runs away. A puddle of black goo appears underneath Cindy's feet and she falls into it. Stargirl tries to save her, it's all in vain. The Shade is injured and flung aside. Defeated, he quickly retreats into the darkness. Once again Stargirl uses her Cosmic Staff, but to no avail. Eclipso escapes and transforms into the ten-year-old boy Bruce.
