Asteroid "Horus" is due to impact the earth in 8 days. Chaos breaks out in Germany, Family Steiner wants to flee the country.

The Steiners have been separated. Uli and Jonas are heading for Russia, Susanne and Leonie are returning to Berlin. Herrmann is fighting for flight tickets to the USA.

The trajectory of Horus has changed but Uli can't turn around without Jonas. Back in Berlin, Leonie and Nora are experiencing an end of time party.

Uli and Jonas return to Berlin where survival appears possible again. The government announces a fair lottery for the distribution of bunker spots.

Petra exposing government actions causes riots and the Steiner's joy over getting a space in a bunker doesn't last long. Meanwhiile, a growing amount of followers find their last hope in Robin.

The Steiners returned home, all attempts to save themselves have been futile. With the end approaching, Susanne and Uli end up in a severe fight.
