I think you're wrong. I think announcing that Discovery and Picard have been renewed for another season were done to calm the fears that the Canon Extremists who were badmouthing the 2 shows 24/7.

Guess we will have to wait and find out in June but I wouldn't bet on either of the things happening.But so far the CBS leaks about the content of STP have been proven to be true....Why else would Kurtzman have gone into a rage across the offices of Secret Hideout after seeing a Doomcock video and stormed into Miss Redstone's office demanding(blackmailing) the Section 31 series to be made which Miss Redstone declared was not going to happen (multiple inside sources confirm this).The only leak that was debunked was the selling of Trek to NBC.

And who are they going to get to distribute it Netflix doesn't want it and we will see how Amazon feels about it after this season but i'm willing to bet they will understand now why netflix dumped it as well

Which was a point I already made months ago.And Kurtzman is known to announce things before checking with the head office which according to the leaks have infuriated people like Miss Redstone who are now are desperately looking for ways to get rid of Kurtzman and Secret Hideout.

I think you guys are getting a little fanatical in your desire to get rid of STD and STP. I didn't watch season one of Discovery because I heard about how bad it was (hearing that some Klingons who were drifting in space so long that they ate the Prime Universe's Captain Georgiou didn't help). But I watched season two and was very pleased. So far Pircard is pretty good. I don't read all of the negativity. I just enjoy the series.

Well Georgiou from the MU ate Saru and his species with some garlic and mushrooms. Canibalism another thing that our franchise so desperately needed.

What? Saru-ians are much better with farve beans, and a nice chianti!

"Enjoying the series" is fine, if you don't mind all the stupidity. It's just not Star Trek. And they shouldn't pretend that it is.

Well, I strongly disagree. I think that Discovery and Picard ARE Ttel. It may not be your grandfather 's Trek, or even your father's Trek, but it IS Trek.

I should just let Nexus straighten you out on that.

I don't need Nexus or anyone to straighten me out about anything. I like Discovery and Picard. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
