Yeah but the things Rich says(often out of a response to be silly )often turn out to be true.But people can't claim they are ranting or hating the show because they just hate new Star Trek but they actually explain everything that is wrong by giving examples from Trek's back catalogue to illustrate the points they are trying to make.And I agree with Mike that STP fell for the same trap as the TNG movies where Picard and the other TNG characters were put into a more action based roles which didn't fit the established characters at all.In all TNG movies Picard is off kilter (particularly in the often praised First Contact)
