Barring the seemingly ever present unnecessary female nudity this was a good yarn for the first five episodes, before going all a bit wonky in the finale. I was rather puzzled how the new American handler of Feef rushed her out of the house and was shot in the back (seemingly fatally) then in the next scene he is alive and cordially having a conversation with a British agent. Did I miss something?

I had high hopes for this show when I read the preview information. But as I watched the first episode I saw some political biases in the writing. It is a Netflix original.
The first episode begins establishing the labor party as the 'good guys', and the conservatives as out of touch stuffed shirts. The rouge American spy comes off a bit McCarthy-esque. Plus, he disobeys orders and lies to his British asset.
Also, there is some revisionist history regarding the news of the first atomic bomb in Britain. I don't like historical fiction which gets the history wrong for political or ideological reasons.

Yeah, I think it did wear its politics on its sleeves a little unnecessarily, given the story was set in the politically neutral civil service. I can only assume it was an attempt to show the conflict in Feef as she is tasked with carrying out acts she doesn't think were appropriate.
