Anyway, I first became aware of this show back around 1983, as a wee lad in daycare; the babysitter lady loved her stories, and As the World Turns was one of them. Now, I was shielded from the more raunchy storylines, and this leads me to my question:

Does anyone here recall a storyline involving a man and a woman who became marooned on a deserted island? (I believe it was the aftermath of a plane crash)

From watching the previews way back then, I remember the man and woman had made the island their love nest, and were frolicking around in a waterfall, naked (well, as naked as clever camera angles would allow on broadcast television;))

Just from watching the commercials, this storyline went on for multiple episodes, until they were apparently rescued. Does anyone here remember this storyline, and if so, can they tell me the names of the two characters, as well as the actors who played them?

I am prepared to wait.

I'll be honest, bratface. Sometimes I have burning questions about nostalgic memories long past, but this isn't one of them. Just a curio that pops into my head every now and then. I could be remembering the wrong soap, but I'm fairly positive it's ATWTs. Anyway, the actress had long dark brown hair, and the actor I think had dark hair too. And, of course, they were both probably in their 20s/30s. Ah, to be young again. (Sigh).

The episode would've aired between 1980 -85.

Thank you. I'm going to go ahead and guess that Colleen Zenk (playing Barabara Ryan) was the actress I'm thinking of, though I'm not sure who the man was on the island with her. But at least now I know where to look!
