In a season 6 ep--the show is flat out in serious territory by now--Hawkeye mentions an Abbot and Costello film that in fact never existed. It, however, sounds like a real movie of theirs. The show was a massive hit by 1977 --not just supposedly another sitcom as it had started off in '72. People turned to it somewhat for even guidance. And they still give out misinformation to viewers! That shows and proves how untrustworthy this show forever was (also no Kim ll Sung mention ever--see my postings).
