There is a pathetic tenth season ep about a dead noncom whose soul only Klinger ( who is feverish with kidney stone) can see and talk to. This episode really is as bizarre and obscure and bad as you can get. Did Klinger imagine and dream the whole thing? It's a little like Freder's dreaming of Maria sexily dancing in Metropolis while the former's dad, Joh Fredersen, is really looking at Maria doing so. But Metropolis is not what this Mash ep is based on. Rather the code is this. I already pointed out in a previous posting that Jamie Farr was on the Twilight Zone. He was in the ep about the dead Confederates walking down the road ( The Passerby). In this ep Klinger dreams ( ?) the non-com ends up on a similar road of deceased soldiers who are all together and what makes this really terrible viewing is some dead soldiers are communist Chinese under mass-murderer Mao Zedong! But it is apparently Klinger's delusion. This ep is a little understood reference to indeed Farr having been on TZ ( in the TZ ep he starred in he was masked with no dialog but it was definitely him).
