As it was already indicated multiple times, this series wasn't officially broadcasted in mainland China. Consequently, there is no official zh-CN title and the field should remain empty.

well, you probably should hide the moon knight page from the user from mainland China, since moon knight never release in mainland China. We shouldn't have seen this page. lol

Why hiding the page ?

You are allowed to write an overview in Chinese language.

It's possible in the future that (who knows) Disney+ will be available in China. In that case, the title used in mainland China for this series will be allowed in the field.

The series may eventually also be officially licensed to another mainland China broadcaster. In that case, the title used will also be allowed in the field.

lol, interesting. Moon Knight never release in China. So you said there is no official zh-CN title. I changed the website setting to en-US, the blank shows" Translated Name", then I change the setting to zh-SG "Translated Name (Chinese)" then zh-hk, zh-tw, same. I didn't see any notes request an official title. Maybe my English is different from yours, in yours, Translated Name (Chinese)= official zh-CN title

Moon Knight is the main character of the TV Show, has official simplified Chinese subtitles, these words “Moon Knight ” have the official translation. So the blank "Translated Name (Chinese)" should be filled in “月光骑士” as the "月光骑士” is the official translation shows in the official simplified Chinese subtitles.

The rule say : "The translated title should be the first official translation. In other words, the title of the first—theatrical, physical, digital or TV—release. " For the zh-CN page, this title should be the first title used in mainland China.

OK balabala, whatever

zh-cn should only refer to the language used in China, here it refers to simplified Chinese. This should not be a geographical reference. Moon knight have the officail title in simplified Chinese just as same as in zh-SG "月光骑士“ it is that simple.

There is an official poster showing title in Chinese "月光骑士". Don't know why TMDB is so stubborn.

迪士尼+本来就有简体中文界面、海报、字幕。语言译名不应该受地理限制,中国人遍布全球,使用简体中文的人哪里都有。 — 来自新加坡的中国人

不计其数的电影电视剧都没在朝鲜上线发行,那是不是都应该把朝鲜语的译名清空?按发行地理位置区分译名的逻辑也太搞笑了。

Yes, I understand why we should not fill the translated title for zh-CN, but why is alternative title for CN also removed ? If so, how can people in mainland China use TMDB for those movies/tvs not released in China ?

Alternative titles should also be official titles. They are used when there are multiple official titles in the same place.
