I wonder, by TMDb rules, shouldn't all those (archived footage) credits be added as (uncredited), because they're not listed in the episode credits. Or should they even be added at all? It's just scenes from the films, and all those actors are already credited in the corresponding films. https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/92830-obi-wan-kenobi/season/1/episode/1/cast

Hi, if the actors are (uncredited), then you are correct that (uncredited) should also be added to the character name field after the (archive footage). Credits with (archive footage) is much more common for documentaries.

So it's "(archive footage) (uncredited)" or "(archive footage uncredited)"? But I guess my question was more about whether it is worth listing them at all? It's not the actual "archive footage" from the series itself, but merely just fragments from the old films. These films are already listed on TMDb, and these actors are already credited in these films. So it's like they are being credited twice for the same role.

I haven't watched this, but if it's actual footage in the episode it's correct to add it with (archive footage) (uncredited) at the end. The first one is to designate that it's not footage shot for the episode, the second to show that it isn't part of the credits.
