The Japanese website does indicate the overall number of episodes when listing them, only to indicate the intended/airing order of episodes. This is not an uncommon practice, with an example being how Attack on Titan lists the overall number in the very content of every episode despite being officially split into seasons. This season split is mentioned in the official Japanese website’s news section countless times in the lead up to the airing of the second season/period. The movie section also numbers the first PV of the second period as PV第1弾 instead of 5, indicating that it is the first of that season. I deeply encourage the moderation team to look at the じゅじゅよこく or “Juju Yokoku” tab of the movies section of the official Japanese website to see episodes listed in their overall number and then listed as the specific numbering within that season. Example listed as 第26話（第2期第2話）「懐玉-弐-」, which translates to “Episode 26 (Episode 2 of Season 2) "Kaitama - Ni-." Despite this information, most official Japanese sources list a season split. It is notably incorrect to even imply that this is a continuation of the first airing period or season when this is not the case.
