The events revolve around Hadi Hadi Abdel Hadi, a thirty-year-old lazy young man who lives with his father. His life is turned upside down when he is diagnosed with a rare condition that requires him to constantly move to avoid fatal blood clots. He begins a comedic journey of constant walking.

Alexandria, Egypt, 1940. Three young Egyptians come to the aid of a woman being attacked by three British soldiers. One of them is arrested and thrown in jail. When the military surrounds the police station and begins an all-out assault, it's up to one man, Gen. Youssef al-Masri, to defend his prison and protect his people.

The film takes place in the Sharabiya district and illustrates the human and social relations between its residents. Within the events, three men fall in love with Yasmine, each of whom has his own way of thinking.
