Smashing UK Productions is an award-winning film production company based in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Since forming in 2010, the company enjoys ongoing and creative collaborations with some highly talented filmmakers and has produced a variety of engaging films for online and festival audiences and promotional videos for external clientele. Whilst originally formed and based in Worcester, the company relocated in 2019 to the distinctive cultural district of Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham. Projects we undertake occasionally see us branching out to locations across the Midlands, London and Yorkshire, where we collaborate with partner companies, with filming also undertaken across Scotland, France, the Netherlands and Poland. Over the past five years we have produced a number of diverse productions across a variety of genres including a poetic drama ('The Secret Eye'​) and a World War II film ('Our Father'​), the latter of which premiered at the 69th Cannes Film Festival and went on to receive 10 award nominations and 2 wins during its festival run.

Our new caper-comedy short film ‘Wayward Souls’ held its world premiere in October 2018 at the Sydney Indie Film Festival in Australia. Development for future projects is currently underway.
