Some think there’s some BTS drama between DJ and JG. It’s strange that DJ didn’t congrat JG and PS for their new WBD positions. DJ’s always looking for things to post. So why not congrat them?
JG retweeted an S!2 tweet that ZL posted., but he hasn’t tweeted anything about BA yet. It’s said that DJ doesn’t really care about the S! films. It’s kinda obvious bc he doesn’t say much about them. And he may dislike them more now that one of his bosses (PS) is also producing S!2.

WB and WBD really don’t know how to be professional. They don’t care that people know about their BTS drama.
In DJ’s defense, JG should have said something about BA first. BA’s OW numbers were known Sunday morning. The announcement of JG and PS happened on Monday. So JG started this dog fight. He won the pissing contest. His territory is marked. All two-legged dogs better stay out of his lane. lol I guess he can keep quiet if he’s not impressed with a $67 mil OW.

TN changed it to $460 mil. It's still low, though. The first one closed with $700,059,566.

I don’t think a $67 mil OW is good either. And it doesn’t look like China will give BA’s BO a good boost either.

A user on the Box Office Theory forums (via Reddit) posted that as a result of Chinese Marvel fans informing the Chinese Film Board that Pierce Brosnan is a Dalia Lama supporter, China has decided not to release Black Adam.
“Pierce Brosnan wore something related to Daila Lama in an interview – that is what I heard / read,” states user Tiger Paw. “And on Weibo, there are comments that said many Marvel fans took the chance and called in to the film board to highlight this and complained to get the film banned.”

Word is that BA may just reach $430 mil ($200 mil PB). What’s going on with DJ’s draw power? Super-Pet barely reached $200 mil ($90 mil PB) and the first two eps of Young Rock S03 only got 1.81 and 1.43 mil viewers. That’s without DVR. With 7 days DVR, the first ep got 2.39 mil viewers. S01’s first ep got 5.31 mil and 6.70 mil +7 days DVR.
It’s that easy.

DJ got Booed at SDCC, remember? If that didn’t happen, we’d have had headless SM or shadow SM in BA.
Nah. WBD had nothing to do with that. That had DJ/DG written all over it.
DJ is kissing MCU's arse. He probably wants to be hired to make their stuff suck and flop too.
Old hags think that showing their younger partner that they can be horny in public will make them look young or something. DG isn’t the only one. Thandiwe Newton and Katie Holmes do it too.
DJ thinks that he’s still in that fake wrestling world. In the real world, things aren’t fixed. When you release a film, you have to wait for the BO numbers before you start barking about anything changing or anything new starting.
The BM fans should take a tranquilizer shot and go lay down. The whole superhero thing is ridiculous enough as it is. Now we have a grown-arse man in a batsuit with no powers. BM shouldn’t be part of the Trinity. Heck, he shouldn’t be part of JL either. At least BA has powers.
Seriously, why does the JL need BM? Brain? Money? Tech? WW, SM, Cyborg and Flash are all very smart. Do they need BM’s expensive high tech toys? Not really. They have Cyborg. He can access and control almost everything.
Fight fifteen years to make a movie and a cameo added last minute is the most important thing to talk about. A 2-hour movie and the most important thing to talk about is the few seconds post-credit scene.
Why is WBD so eager to do that to 7BP stuff? They did it to Super-Pets too. Don’t Worry Darling stayed in theaters for 45 days.
So JG and PS may not be the only ones who don’t like whatever DJ is cooking. It looks like the tension started before them. Saslav may not like whatever DJ is cooking either.

Also unlikely is a sequel to Black Adam. Despite the hype surrounding the movie of launching a new corner of DC, a lot of it led by star Dwayne Johnson, the movie has only grossed $385 million worldwide and insiders at the studio say the movie, which cost more than $190 million to produce (two sources peg the actual cost at $230 million, not including marketing), will be lucky to break even, even considering ancillary revenue. Even if the movie does eke out a minimal profit, any follow-up’s inherent rising costs dim the prospect of a sequel.
Johnson hoped to carve out his own piece of the DC pie, but multiple sources say his playing up of a returning Cavill and his own involvement with DC may not be endearing him to the new management. Johnson and Cavill are both managed by Dany Garcia, who is also Johnson’s producing partner. The perception of Adam turning a profit or not is a conflagration now being waged in public, with Johnson tweeting the movie would net over $50 million after a Variety story said the movie would lose over $50 million theatrically.
According to DJ, it’s not a flop. He’s actually trying to debunk that on his Twitter.
Is he for real? Tequila must have killed all his brain cells.
CapA1 came out in 2011. Ever heard of inflation? It also had a $140 mil PB. It made its PB 2.6x.
2011 – $370,569,776 WW gross and PB $140,000,000
2022 – $490,951,947 WW gross and PB $185,479,974 (with inflation)
BA may not even reach $400 mil. And let’s not forget that CE wasn’t “the biggest draw in the world” or the highest paid actor.
And don’t forget how Morbius is considered a huge flop by the trades and outlets while it made its $75 mil PB 2.2x ($167,460,961). After all those articles, who in their right mind would believe BA, that only made 1.9x its $200 mil PB (after seven weeks), isn’t a flop? No sane person would spend a lot of money to promote a $75 mil film. But they will spend close to a $100 mil to promote a $200 mil film.

I couldn’t believe DJ did that. I wonder if he posted that with a serious face. There’s no way BA isn’t flop.
People shouldn’t compare BA with with CapA or H&S. They should compare it with DJ’s other films. H&S is a spinoff of a billion $ franchise and DJ is the co-lead with Jason Statham, who’s also a popular actor.
BA should be compared with Rampage (2018) and San Andreas (2015). They’re not a spinoff of a billion $ franchise and DJ is the only lead.
So, let’s see how they did (+ means with inflation).
China really helped those films' WorldWide gross. If BA was released there, it could have grossed another $156,381,897 on top of its current $388,873,000. That would have been $545,254897 + Russia’s $12,692,837 = $557,947,734.
That’s still not 3x its $200 mil PB to break even. Keep in mind that I used inflation numbers and the highest Chinese (Rampage) and Russian (San Andreas) gross. Rampage and San Andreas were successful, because they had a smaller PB.
So, when DJ doesn’t have a popular co-lead, he should keep the PB small.

DG is doing some sort of damage control since she said that kissing her hubby is private. Now, she’s acting all horny with him to show that they’re in love and hot for each other. lol It’s just stupid. Many people don’t like PDA. They don’t like being all over each other in public. That’s it. Nothing wrong with that. Her damage control did more damage to her image as a mature woman above childish BS.
Male celebs date younger women all the time, but I haven’t seen them act like horny teenagers with their partners in public yet. Female celebs feel they must behave like that or change in whatever their younger boy toys want. lol DG was with DJ for years, but she didn’t turn into a bodybuilder. She trained and did sports, like many of us. But insert young bodybuilder partner and she’s suddenly a bodybuilder.
The MCU got it right. Tony Stark aka IronM is BM (billionaire, smart) and Cyborg (IronM suits and other high tech toys).
DJ keeps pissing people off. Why would that idiot say HC’s SM is better than CR’s? You’re right, tequila must have killed all his brain cells. lol He should leave HC out of his childish BS.

Now, he posted a Deadline (on his and DG’s beck and call) article full of assumptions as fact. They don’t know how BA will do in the ancillary market. They assume it will do Jumanji numbers or better than Jumanji in that market. lol BA will hit HBOM for no extra cost the 16th(?). Will it still sell many DVD/BR’s?
Yeah, but Rampage and San Andreas are exciting films. BA is not.

Maybe DG will write a tell-all book à la Demi Moore and we’ll find out what else she did to be perceived as young by her younger partner.
DJ always tries to take over. He tried to do that with F&F too. He thought that he was the big draw. If that was true, H&S would have grossed a billion $. F&F9 was released during the pandemic and it grossed more than H&S. Vin Diesel is the draw, not DJ.

Unbelievable! WBD ordered another hit piece in Variety on DJ, even after he bowed down and accepted JG is the boss with his fake post about rooting for JG. Really? Both WBD and DJ behaved extremely unprofessional throughout the whole BA promo and theatrical run. The WBD d*ck heads didn’t acknowledge BA, as far as I know. DJ didn’t bother congrat JG when he was announced as co-CEO of DC Studio. He congrat BlackP2 instead.
So WTH happened? Suddenly they’ve realized that the public is watching them? That they should behave like grown men instead of teenage candy-arse b*tches? Well, too late!

Gisele and Tom used to engage in PDA. All kinds of cute poses. Tom’s hand on her butt. All that and football was his love, not Gisele. So… PDA doesn’t mean anything.
