Discuss American Horror Story

It seemed to be everywhere, and I'm looking at the clock. There were parts that are redundant and or very familiar. Perhaps, I made it up in my mind. Where's my pill? pill

  1. Clowns are one of the REOCCURING themes
  2. I swear I saw that outdoor sex scene in front of the clown before on AH
  3. The political stuff was basic and Murphy needs to stay in his lane
  4. The nanny was sad about Trump and yet wants to ruin the liberal couple's child psyche.
  5. The DANG panic attacks.
  6. The DANG "hallucinations!"

That's all for now.

I prefer to see a series set in an actual cult a la Jim Jones or something like that.

Like with Manson? Real children of the corn type of season would be fun

Also I thought maybe when they were doing Roanoke that it would be cool of it was a film set where you don't know if it is real

Another is a carnival. Not a circus, but some amusement type place

Or a school with creepy kids and teachers. Goosebumps had fun with it and so could this show

That or a religious cult. It doesn't have to be based on Christianity but some type of religion, a self-made one would work.

I like that Roanoke took away a lot of the minutia and flat out said what it was opposed to this mess we're seeing w/Cult.

What about a magic shop or a dark castle that serves as a hotel.

Worst one? That means you liked Hotel more than Roanoke.

Yes, Roanoke is the worse one to me and I give Hotel a point above it.

I am totally surprised at how some people liked Hotel more than Roanoke.

Well you know the saying - "different strokes...." wink

The only thing I can say that I didn't like about Roanoke was the fact that they had to RE-ENTER the home. I thought they should have ended the season with a few lives spared but no. . .

It was so much I didn't like, too numerous to list.

Other than that, I think it was pretty good and a fresh look at the Franchise. Plus, the ratings were through the roof for Roanoke, which I had feared Hotel scared off a lot of people.

Yes, a lot of people may have watched- but that doesn't mean they all really liked it. I have watched every season, the first one is my favorite. No matter if I wasn't too crazy about a season, I will still watch because I do like the overall ideas of the shows and the cast.

I am already sick of Sarah Paulson screaming and bugging out every second, but I am still interested in seeing where this is all going/how it ends.

I said I will give this another shot, but I don't know. I haven't even been looking for it in the guide to make sure it's recorded.

You are a better person than I am .... lol .... once I start I have to finish. I'm not proud of it, I have watched some terrible stuff. grin

I like to see something set at a hospital. Halloween 2 was good and if done right with freaky doctor's it could work perhaps

Have you seen Stephen King's “Kingdom Hospital“? (It's an adaptation of Van Trier's “Kingdom“ but I prefer King's version) I would love to see AHS play out in a similar way.

I didn't think of that, but your right. They could built a similar mythology

LOL!

Every time, she does that crazy screaming, I'm going to laugh or mimic her. Perhaps, that'll help me get through those scenes.

The second episode was better than the first, and I think they should have opened with this one. To me, the first episode was too unnecessary.

clown scream rofl

I think I'm going to bow out of this. I watched one more episode than I said I would, and this isn't going anywhere.

I lied. I watched the latest episode, but I had to turn away from the nail gun thing. Too much.

I know, and I thought I could stand gore. You must know I am a Quentin Tarantino fan, so I thought I was tough stuff. I have been proven wrong. scream
