You live in Ireland? That clip was hilarious. I kind of sympathize with them. We have had really weird weather in my part of the world.
No. Do not live there.
It's just that this clip popped up re: the first day of summer. AND, it caught my eye because as it turns out first-day-of summer-weather is what we are having—even though the calendar shows otherwise. (Almost 30 degrees above where we should be--END TIMES.)
Anyway…
Yes, it is parody, but, this "Warm Weather Crisis Team" is on point about what folks get up to on such gorgeous days…rather than going to work.
Sometimes “Sugar, Spice, and Everything nice” just doesn’t cut it!
So funny. But I feel her. The local 'ice cream trucks' (when we actually see or hear them) charge $4.00 for a bloody popsicle! It's just flavored water!

Yes. In Europe, almost everything costs at least 30% more compared with the USA. Now, even the children are complaining. In the UK the average pocket money per week is about £11.20 (£6.40 - £16.30), but can be as low as only £2 per week for children under 11 years old. So, for these sprogs in the video clip two ice creams can cost them somewhere between one week to one month of pocket money.
Sidenotes:
By the way, the twins in the video clip are very nice, but when faced with something like this, the little princesses can turn into your regular spitfire. Especially Marnie will speak her mind. She is certainly mad that the popular screwball cost so much now.
In her case, two ice creams cost 9 quid (US$ 11.60).

I didn't put the name of the movie in my comments, because Tyson had already done so in the clip.

I guess I didn't listen as closely as I should have. I'll watch it again.

Three weeks from today (June 13, 2024), it is the Fourth of July. Warning: instead of tasered you will be shot.

Maybe to, hopefully, discourage other thrill seekers. (Although, the judge appeared to be a fan.)

Seems, during the arraignment, the Judge "complimented" him on 'landing' that backflip.
NOTE: To all the folks on here "from Missouri" ...don't remember where I saw this little tidbit.
