Hello, Lantzn.
I have just joined this evening and expect that several others will make there way here. Have you been active on Benedict's board or on the Sherlock board? I joined the BC board in January 2012 and enjoyed meeting some fine people there, plus so many discussions where fantastic. Well, now that I have made a foot print, I have to get back to some work.

Welcome, Yeah I'll visit the Sherlock board when a new season is playing. I'm somewhat behind because I watch as they're released on Netflix. I dropped my cable acct years ago. I really like BC's work and will also visit the boards of his other stuff. I did have cable back when the first season of Sherlock was released here in the US and was hooked immediately. I didn't really know who BC was but was a fan of Martin Freeman.
The discussions are so new here we have a lot of work to do to get them going but it'll be a new challenge to enjoy. Cheers

I watch them on Netflix as well. Any idea when the new season will be posted? We are on season 3 but we'll get caught up quickly

@loiskatnissskywalker No I don't but I'm anxiously waiting for the email announcement. I do lo like the way Netflix notifies you when something in your watchlist is updated with new episode. I make it a habit to post about it on the forums at IMDb and now here.

I had no idea about the email notifications. Thanks!

Oh yeah, they really stand out. You open an email and it looks like a big poster of your show with a banner and bright red New Episodes available. I must have opted in somewhere.
And now that I think about it they even send ones like Suggestions. They did that with the OA tv show.

I found an old one for Persons of Interest in my email trash and this was on the very bottom.

Sherlock, Season Four, is available for purchase at Amazon for $24.99 / BluRay and $14.99 DVD. Since there will not be a Season Five for quite a while - if at all - these will be cherished items. My personal take is that Steven, Sue, Mark, Ben, Martin, and all others involved must be blazingly exhausted with the diatribes they have endured from people who basically have no experience in what it has taken to create that magical show. If many of us could not stand to read the garbage slung at them, I can't imagine how they have had either the desire or patience to continue.
While one on the IMDb Sherlock board took an official tally of those who believed they would eventually return in some form (or other), some of us volunteered that we believed they would return. My faith is built on the fact that Steven, Sue, Mark, Ben, and Martin each repeatedly said they would love to keep making the shows until (if) they retired with Sherlock going off to keep bees in East Sussex overlooking the Channel. So, since they are men of integrity, it is easy to feel good about that desire percolating in their minds and hearts for a while until the furor calms down . . . . it ever.
As for Season Four, I felt is was intriguing, a fitting end to Mary's story, and a satisfactory transition from the unbridled Sherlock of Season One to a mature, discipline man of this year, who has become the thoughtful, more insightful Holmes of Conan Doyle's books and stories.

Hello! I viewed the IMDB boards infrequently during this year (I hadn't found this show until last year)
