Doesn't that alien look like the bridge officer in Discovery?

So I just paused in the start of episode 3, and that brief scene at 12 mins ,where Commander Kelly is at the bar, the bartender alien looks like the science officer on the bridge in Discovery... they look like the same exact species...is my eyes just playing tricks on me? https://imgur.com/a/3PdeA then this...https://imgur.com/a/HLQCV

eh there is only so many ways to make a human look alien, one of the better things about Orville is the blob alien I am so sick of all humanoid aliens

That's a shame, because it seems to me that based on his other stuff, voicing Yaphit is perfect for him. But people who aren't already familiar with Norm's work won't appreciate it nearly as much.

First off Scorpion, my post was a reply to Satai's post. Second, why so snarky? I just asked a question and 'posed' a probable reason why they hadn't seen anything Norm was in. He was all over the 'place' (mostly TV) in the 90's, early 2000's. So it makes sense that people in that demographic wouldn't know who he was.
