OK, from all I could read about this, I don't see more than 38 episodes mentioned. IMDB only shows 13 episodes, so it must not be up to date.

update - Just watched episode 20 - it is confusing when they introduce dream sequences - Moron firing the gun into the ceiling - Vulture having two radios - all that was Behzat dreaming. He also dreams his dead father comes to take away Berna and he is driving through endless storeys in the car park. I had to laugh when they were playing cards whilst in custody and asking each other what their dreams were - Moron of course dreamed of running a fast food store - Behzat dreamed of making them all do press-ups in the snow - on their fists - made them start again from 53 - ghost dreamed of bulldozing a huge building down in revenge for all the shanty towns they had demolished - and Vulture?? - BLACK. That was funny. They go to Istanbul in search of Excrement - I don't understand how he found him by following a gang of sports fans and asking their leader something - from which he found out where Excrements house was. Of course he utilises the corrupt police chief to help him escape - but at least he is now a wanted man - a Kacak - dare I say!! I don't understand why they recruit virtual children into the Gendarmerie - none of them look older than eighteen. I was happy to see Moron finally getting what he deserved via Behzak. It was long overdue. He should be dismissed from his job for relaying sensitive information to a civilian anyway - how low can you get - stealing from your mother for a whore - Moron seemed to think that his mother would be cool with it - I think she would have whipped that rolling pin out without a second thought.

Yeah I left out the details on the car and the ring, trying to shorten the summary. I sometimes leave gaps when writing the play by play review. Some of it I just want to skip. Moron spoke to a witness in a dismissive manner and she reminded him he is paid because she pays taxes. He tells her "Not enough. I don't get paid enough" while not even bothering to look her in the eye. The lazy slug was just sitting on a retaining wall doing nothing. Ghost spoke to her with respect, apologizing for Moron. I guess this is the soap aspect; Moron is a character we love to hate. If I could fire him I would dance a jig.
Someone is setting up Behzat again. Two people he had issues with are in the hospital, in comas. He is being sued, though he didn't do it and there isn't any evidence that he did. He just has a habit of beating up people, including the two who were later beaten into comas. The truth is that he should have been suspended, fired, and jailed long ago. But since he is the hero of the story, and since he is innocent this time, we are supposed to be on his side, and I guess I am.
The issue with Resat shoplifting and nothing happening to him over it is like a theme to this show. None of the dumbasses in this show ever really pay for the crap they pull. Moron should have been sued, fired, you name it. He should be fired on general principle. I'm reminded of what Moe told Curly once when Curly said he was thinking: "don't do that, it weakens the nation".
I'm starting episode 24. Excrement took a tip from Philip Jennings and he is in town, and talking to one of Behzat's near and dear. I wonder what his plans are there. He isn't hiding out far away, he is hiding in plain sight. And he must be the one putting people into comas to set up Behzat.

The last two episodes have been quite boring - one was a take on "D.O.A." and the other "Strangers on a Train". Eda is on a power trip - she has far too much to say for what is essentially a clerk. I am sure Cevdet (who they call by a different name sometimes - probably continuity errors that aren't picked up on) could do her job because he certainly doesn't seem to have any reason for being there otherwise - except as a tea boy. Such a touching episode between Moron and his father - he is still a surly jackass though so it didn't have much effect. I am sick and tired of Behzat running to the jail every time Bizarre gets arrested - thank goodness we don't see anything of her manboy child these days though. I am also tired of the constant repetition of phrases in this show - calm down - have a rest - I beat her - I couldn't help myself - bring me tea - do you have biscuits - it wasn't me Sir - and the prosecutor - she turns up at every crime scene - takes a look - flirts with Behzat - and leaves. I mean what is the point of that? She doesn't do anything except look at a dead body. Moron called the forensics team ghostbusters - which is the most amusing thing he has said so far - I think this show tries to be funny - but I don't get the Turkish sense of humour most of the time.

Oh Dear - he's done it now !! Excrement has bopped Bizarre on the head (for disrespecting him!) and Behzat has got that look in his eye - Excrement's days are numbered - he had better buy a different wig (Phil can help out there) and get the hell outa town!. I love the way Mehmut says - oh you were a wanted man but I talked to the right people so you can live out in the open now - who are these right people who can make a wanted man an innocent civilian again? I see that Cevdet has been accepted by the gang at last but can't seem to drink beer - use your mouth - says Moron - somewhat inexplicably. I wouldn't like to work in that office or drive in that car with all of them with the amount of white beans and rice they eat and the amount of beer they drink. I think Excrement has gone too far now - with that death by fire scene - I am repulsed by that - not entertained. At least one of Bahar's lefty pals showed some intelligence - pity about the other one. It is amazing how one can become a university lecturer just like that - but I suppose as Excrement set up the University he can hire whom he likes. I would love to have seen Bahar dating Excrement and introducing him to her son - oh what fun that would have been - they missed an opportunity there - can you imagine it - Urine or whatever his name is - standing on a box and going nose to nose with Excrement - I will kill you if you try to marry my mother - he squeaks - to which Excrement smiles - and guts him like a fish. Sighs - it was not to be.

Excrement might have won some sort of community service award if he had gutted Useless, or Urine, whatever that psycho kid's name is.
I still don't understand something; he is screwing the Undersecretary's wife, apparently with the blessing of the Undersecretary, so it must be one of those wild swinging groups, and if I recall correctly, when Behzat (haven't thought of a good nickname for him) went to the Undersecretary with video of the affair, he threatened Behzat with video of him shooting the suspect being held by his men. So they still have that evidence to hold over his head. How then is Behzat still able to go after Excrement?
As to his fix it man telling him that he had cleared up the whole murder thing for him so he isn't a fugitive anymore, that indicates that the government there is run by very powerful elite people who rule by their will, not by the rule of law, though the system as a whole, and most of the people within the justice system, try to follow the rule of law. But it is very corrupt, and this is well enough known that when one of the powerful elites pardons someone for multiple murders, no one is very surprised about it. Their attitude is "well it came from higher up". They tacitly acknowledge that it is the position of the person issuing the order which determines what is lawful, not the laws on the books. People have learned not to question this, because the powerful elite are powerful indeed, and can ruin their careers, or even set them up to go to prison for something they didn't do.
Touching on real life for a second, this is pretty much the way things actually run in the real world, to some extent. Just look at the Jeffrey Epstein jail murder. Even the pathologist was pressured to say it was a suicide. To me, this is a strong argument for a return in America to a real federal system, where States and local governments have autonomy and real power. The central government should not have the power it does. When too much power is concentrated in one place, it both attracts corrupt people, and corrupts normal people who hold that power. And those wielding that power always seek to increase the amount of power they wield. OK, enough about that.
I had switched over to watching some of the old Ezel episodes again, just for a break. I wish this show was dubbed in English also. Anyway, you seem to have slipped ahead of me a little, so it's back to Behzat

SECOND comment: Professor Shithead is praising "disrespectful" leaders in history, which seems to be his latest kick. He is promoting the idea to Bizarre's leftie group. This seemed strange to me since he cannot stand it if he feels someone fails to show him the proper respect, and frequently kills them for the offense. In his class as he praises Che as being very disrespectful, a student comes late to class for the second time. Shithead kicks him out of class, throwing his bookbag to the door to make his point. I imagine the hypocrisy wasn't lost on the rest of the students.
Another common trope in cop shows: the detectives see a suspect they need to bring in, someone they believe has committed a crime, and when they see him across the busy street, they yell out "Hey, (Suspect's Name)!". Suspect looks and sees two guys who look like cops and takes off running. The idiot detectives must like to run a lot, and say things like "damn, he got away". They could just walk over to him, one on either side, and say hello then.
Pof Excrement, Bizarre, and the black student are in a protest and get arrested. His Mr. Fix it man is fairly highly connected but I didn't catch what his position is supposed to be.
Bizarre's daughter Zaynep wouldn't shake hands with Prof. Shithead, which offended him. I wonder if he kills her now or puts her on a list and waits til she is older.
Behzat knows how to text now. It he learns about Twitter he can really get into trouble. lol
Prof Shithead murders a couple more people for the crime of showing him "disrespect" in the death by fire scene you mentioned. You wonder how he manages to maintain his connections with the powerufl elite who keep protecting him. Are they as psycho as he is? I suppose people like him can be useful to them.
Another scene they recycle frequently is older brother Sevket angrily losing his mind over just about anything. There isn't any depth to that character. Or any character for that matter.
Behzat sent a poetic love text to Bahar. Didn't see that coming. He is worried that Sevket might be sweet on Bahar, perhaps. That was suggested by someone not long ago.
Moron has the emotional stability of a two year old. Selim and Eda are getting engaged and they asked the Captain to put their rings on in some engagement ceremony. When Moron found out about it he almost started crying. Someone who reaches his age and has never learned to deal with disappointments, never learned to delay gratification, never learned manners, never learned to treat others with respect, and never developed a strong work ethic, has no real chance to change. You can't turn out like Moron if you have a conscience, if you have good character. In theory anyone can change, but he doesn't want to be a better person, he only wants things to go his way. He wants to be loved, but he doesn't want to be lovable. He can't understand why no woman would want him for who he is, but much worse than that, he thinks that it's unfair that they don't. He won't even take care of himself. He is a slob, he is rude, and yet he thinks he is a great guy.
Behzat just found out about Prof. Shithead and is on the way there now. Shihead stabbed a leftist and left him tied and bleeding in one of the university offices. Now he is going out with Bahar with his fix it man. And along comes Behzat chasing them in his car. Bahar now finds out she is in trouble. Moron calls in a blockade. Excrement plays Russian roulette with Bahar and she wins, but passes out from a blow to the head. Behzat will murder Shithead if he gets the chance I think.

I am on Ep 27 - Moron is being an even bigger moron than usual and is considering marriage. I wont say any more. There are cases but no real development in their personal lives. Cevdet has gone on sort of afternoon date with Moron's sister - is it Alyi - and she brought along a rather hostile friend - she is just as moronic as her brother and spent the entire date grinning at him. GONUL's ex-lover turns up and tries to re-unite with her - Beserk of course checks him out and does his usual thing when he turns up at her door whilst he is there. There is an "amusing" scene when they are all blind drunk except Vulture and he has to drive the car - cue stops and starts and curses. How they can turn up drunk at a crime scene is beyond me but Turks must think this is acceptable behaviour. Sule's father visits - this seems a completely pointless episode because he doesn't do anything else and leaves next day. Sule has taken over tutoring Resnat and he has kissed her again - this kid is in dire need of a cup of bromide - his father should make him have cold showers three times a day. Beserk is still trying to find out about the Berna footage but the guys don't recognise the photo of the guy who is in league with Mehmut and who tried to kill him. They say he had stubble now - not a grey beard with white bits in it - so I don't know if that is continuity gone bonkers again. Bizarre's ex husband - a lawyer has turned up and thinks they should sue Excrement !! Beserk missed a golden opportunity there to get rid of a rival - he should have said "What a good idea - go ahead!" whereupon Excrement would have kidnapped ex husband and said "So - you want to sue me? That is very disrespectful. Sue this" - produces a mighty pointy hammer from underneath his Jenning's special and proceeds to sculpt him a new head.

Moron wants to get married now? hahaha. I know Ghost said something to him about it, but I wonder if he is motivated by thoughts that Eda will see him getting married and hope she gets jealous, or if he is driven by his need for someone to act like they love him. I pity the poor girl he tricked into getting hitched with him. Moron is all about what's in it for him, how can she make him feel loved? Five minutes into that marriage he will be criticizing her for something. No, that will probably start before the marriage. She must have some sort of mental defect to want to marry him, so she puts up with it.
Moron's sister is Asli, I think. She is usually the normal acting one at home. I guess she is so thrilled to be able to be out with a boy that she goes a bit nuts. Must run in the family.
I am starting episode 25 now. My hard drive is making noise so I created a Windows System Image on a flash drive. I tried to copy the entire op system to make a bootable flash drive, but something went wrong and it wouldn't work. Hopefully this doesn't crash on me. I like Windows 7 and don't want to have to buy Windows 8 or 10; I don't like them, and they have spyware built into them. Maybe I will learn the Linux system. I might sweep the chimney today, if I can get motivated and the weather stays nice.
For now, back to the show.

oh boy, Moron questioned a guy who sells penile enlargement pills online and immediately decided to continue the questioning in a private room. hahaha. He figures that will fix his lady problem, if he can get some bragging rights, she will overlook the rest of him. I wonder how much deeper in debt he will go chasing that dream. -And Eda asks Cevdet "what does he sell?" to which he answers "oh, nothing important".
I wish this show was dubbed in English like Ezel. That makes it so much easier and enjoyable. I like to watch their eyes and other parts of the screen instead of reading text all the time. I need glasses to see well at TV distance and even then I miss the letters sometimes. I don't read that fast compared to many people I know.
for now at least, Harun is making a strong effort to put on a good face and show support and happiness for Eda, and is even being nice to Selim. Eda can tell how difficult it is for him and is feeling compassion for him. That could spell trouble. If she speaks kindly to him he is likely to start getting his hopes up and make a fool of himself again.
Berserk threatens to shoot Mehmet's dick off if he doesn't answer him and Megmet grabs the pistol and points it at his head. Tough guy.
Sule's father? Maybe they are setting something up for later in the show. I think Sule's role becomes more important later in the show, if I recall what I read correctly.
Sevket has his exasperated look down really well.
Moron has his moron look down perfectly, Academy Award winning stuff.
"This year's winner for the most convincing bumbling, childish, frightenly stupid, moron category (and he plays the part with beguiling ease) is......Fatih Artman, but you all know him as Moron from the show Behzat C."
ghost and Vulture are trying to convince Moron to skip the ceremony with them. They realize that Moron is straining his emotionaly stability to keep up the facade that he is perfectly fine with watching Behzat put the rings on Selim and Eda. Of course, Moron, as usual, cannot be honest with himself or anyone else about how fragile he is, and he insists that they all attend the ceremony together. I can just picture it now. He is going to be torn up, barely able to hold it together. And the odds are very good that he will lose it there, and if not, then later. He will get so drunk he will wish he were dead ten times over the next day when the hangover stomps his head. Ghost and Vulture exchange looks, each knowing full well that nothing good can come of Moron attending that ceremony, and wondering what else they can do to try to avert another disaster. Honestly, why have they not tried some sort of sit down with him, together with the captain and others, to confront him, and call him on his bullshit when he tries for the millionth time to deny what is painfully obvious to everyone. That is when they need to get violent. They should beat him til he breaks down and gets honest for once. It seems to work on the suspects, why not try it on Moron?
Berserk brings flowers to Bizarre, who appears to be dreading the encounter. Then she sees the flowers and gets that "What? OMG, flowers?" look. I don't know if it is something she is supposed to wear in the script, or if it is something they are using to cue her lines, or what, but from the back I can see, under her shirt and just above her waist, a small flat rectangle. It looks like one of those transmitter receiver devices which run a wire up to the ear. I can't imagine why she would need one in the story, so I am guessing this is something used in the production. They didn't hide it well.
Selami's rookie partner could talk the ears off a brass monkey. I would have gotten tired of him long, long ago, and overcome the reticence one has at informing someone about their annoying habits. "You're talking more than I am able to listen. You need to be quiet for a long time now." Something like that would work, I would think. It is nicer than "OMG, would you shut up?" Have you ever met one of those people? Somehow they can talk for hours without taking a break, and without noticing that nobody else is saying anything. Nobody else has a chance. I'm always curious when two such people get together, to see who will win. Selami never says a word, but seems to tolerate the soliloquy.
Selami sets up a midnight meeting with Berserk, ostensibly to give him answers. I wonder if this will be another attempt on his life.
I see the part where Bizarre's ex wants to sue Excrement. And he blames Berserk for it. Liberticide, the destruction of liberty, is mentioned as one of Shithead's crimes. I think the multiple murders should top the list of concerns.
The next murder, where the guy was made to walk backwards til he fell off the building under constrution: did you notice that there was a layer of snow all over the floor for at least 20 feet? Some could blow in from the open wall area, but there was a ceiling above which would have sheltered that floor so it would not have an an even covering of snow. But the ground he hit when he fell had no snow on it at all, and there was no covering over it. Yeah, I know. I am getting picky. That is the least of the issues with the show. But it jumped out at me.
Someone named Emre, with poor grammar, left a note informing them that the death was not a suicide, and it was Moron who caught the grammar error. Come on. Moron caught it? That stretches credulity. Moron is probably happy he met the victim the day before so he could place an order for his penile enlargement tablets before the guy died. He will probably play the lottery now, thinking his luck is changing. moron.
Now he sees an email on the guy's computer complaining that the pills don't work. Nix the lottery ticket. They pick up a guy who complained about the pills not working. Moron questions him: "did they really not work?"
Now Cevdet recalls questioning an Emre about the previous murder, of the girl drummer, who said he met her in a darts club.
Taking my time through ep 25. more on it later.
got a late start on things today. I will tackle the chimney tomorrow.

Yes - I noticed the depth of snow in a covered area - had it blown in it wouldn't have settled like that - it would have been in drifts up against a wall. That girl was supposed to be a drummer - not on this God's earth - Buddy Rich can rest in peace. She had absolutely no clue - and leaving in the middle of a gig? I skipped through most of the boxer episode - I have a loathing for boxing - I just can't tolerate it. There is another "amusing" situation coming up with Beserk's brother and his wife. I notice Esra is back in it after a brief absence - is it just me or have you noticed the way her eyes sparkle when she looks at or talks to Beserk? I would not be surprised if there was a real life romantic relationship with those two. At least we know what the cutting of the ribbon means now - you guessed right about Moron at the ceremony. I can see trouble brewing between Eda and Selim - I think once the thrill of the engagement wears off she will begin to start seeing his faults a lot more and he will not be too happy with her trying to domesticate him. I don't think there is a chance for Moron though - he is just too childish and immature to even consider being a husband. He is 30 we are told - and still living at home with his mommy and daddy - says it all really. Be careful if you have to go up on the roof to fix the chimney - do you burn wood or coal? We used to have a coal fire and it was a nightmare - constant trekking through the house to put coal on ( our houses are poorly designed - you have to walk through all the downstairs rooms to get from the coalhouse to the fire itself) then getting rid of the ash every day. and the mess of dust and soot falls and all the rest of it. To make things worse my mother was always cold and would pile the coal so high we were in constant fear of chimney fires or coal falling out and setting the house on fire. I was glad when we got rid of it and installed gas central heating. I didn't see who the sniper was who shot Selami - I had an idea it was his rookie partner who was only putting on that garrulous act - I am probably wrong about that though. I didn't notice the small rectangle you describe on Bizarre - it's typical for this show though - they are very sloppy.

what was the point of writing that note up under the counter behind the drawer where only someone as anal as Vulture would ever find it?
some dumbass was leaving the names of the next victims at the scene of the previous murders.
someone named Memduh Basgan is involved with Excrement; Selami called him to warn him that Behzat was on to him. I don't know who Memduh is though. Selami says he is going to bring down Behzat cause it's personal. I guess pointing a gun at his gonads was over the line. Basgan apparently didn't like that but Selami insisted . You know Behzat has to know he is being set up by Selami.
By the way, I never heard what happened with those two guys beaten into comas. did they ever wake up and exonerate Berserk?
At the ceremony, what did you think of the repetitive greeting ritual? Hello, how are you? We're fine, thank you, how are you? Each person must go through that same greeting and reply with everyone else there. They're not allowed to listen to what they said before and take their word for it. Weird. Then at the end Cevdet screwed up and replied "Thanks, ma'am. I think you're fine too."
Then Moron showed up in a suit, after having said he wasn't feeling well and would not attend. Behzat did his best with the ring ceremony speech which put Moron into tears. I saw that coming. Then he shouts "Well Done Sir. Well Done Sir. " I actually thought he would be in worse shape than that.
At the midnight meeting Selami prepares to kill Berserk as the gang races to the scene. A shooter stops him from killing Behzat. Memduh shut him up. End of 25
I think you're right about Selim and Eda. Selim has demonstrated a lack of character in some ways already. He felt she wasn't giving him enough attention while they were dating so he stepped out on her. He says nothing happened. But if Moron had not caught him stepping out on her something may have happened. He is just a little bit full of himself at times, not real bad about it, but still there is enough there to mention. And then when he saw that he had lost Eda he put on his good face and courted her enough to convince her that he was serious. But I feel like he was conning her to win her back, and he will relax and be himself now that he doesn't have to convince her now. And you're right, she will expect him to be a husband to her, and he probably has his own ideas of what that should look like. He already demonstrated what he wants to do when the relationship isn't giving him what he wants from it. Even though he regretted doing it, the fact that he was willing to secretly go out with another girl while they were dating speaks to a big problem. And once Eda learns that I am single, well, the pressure on the relationship may just prove to be too great. lol
I agree about Moron. That actor does a great job playing a childish, lazy, doofuss. He is used to being enabled by his mother. She protected him when he stole her gold bracelets, and she dotes on him. Plus, he bosses Asli around, ordering her to make food for him, get him tea, etc. Like I said, the woman who agreed to marry him must have a mental defect. Or else she is so desperate that she is willing to put up his foolishness, or is willing to try. She may rue the day she made that decision though.
update. The shooter. You may be right. That could be the talkative guy.

I think Alp (Berna's boyfriend) woke up and exonerated him. I am not sure about the other guy who I think is the cop who planted the dope on Alp. There has been no further action taken against Beserk so I assume that guy is either still in a coma or has woken up and exonerated him too. Yes that note in that position was ludicrous as was the leaving of the next victims names. That repetitive greeting is really strange - I guess it must be part of their culture although it's the first time I have seen it. I am not sure about Moron - I suppose it is possible that a strong woman could man him up - give him confidence - and above all give him the love he craves. I know his mother loves him but it is not the kind of love he is looking for. He has now met the woman his mother is trying to pair him up with. She is beautiful but she is evidently not a westernised muslim woman. She does not want alcohol in any house of hers and is quite dominant about it - I think she will turn out to be dominant in a lot of other ways also - I don't know whether this is a good thing or a bad thing for Moron. There are some men who have weak personalities who thrive on having a strong woman direct their lives - Moron might be one of these types of men. Something is nagging at me though - I just can't see Moron with a strict muslim woman. Have you noticed the determination of the Turkish population to stand and gawk at the cameras - from nine to ninety - male and female - they hover beside trees and stand in doorways - even when they are filming an indoor scene a million people pass by that window and grin into it. They also still practice the tradition of dowries it seems - so maybe they will be paying her to take him away !!

Of course Moron knew the victim who sold grilled meatballs. You could see he was really upset at his death. A man who sells food was killed! We must catch this killer! The meatball salesman is dead? What am I going to do? Moron is too out of shape to jump the guardrailing. lol
What the hell do they think they will learn from the sleeping winos? Wake them up and beat them til they tell us who the killer is. Sure. That's how we do it.
Sule is tutoring RestStop in English because he got 5 out of 100 on his test. He doesn't care, his daddy is rich. But she's a girl and he might get lucky so he doesn't mind the tutor.
I will never get used to the idea of these arranged marriages where the families set things up and the two people never meet before they are basically engaged to each other. Sometimes they are promised to each other from childhood. Moron looked at a picture of the girl and agreed to marry her, without ever meeting her. Crazy. He didn't even look all that interested in her. It was like, well, she'll do I guess. At least the decision was left up to Moron, but the idiot didn't even try to find someone he was attracted to, or he found interesting to talk to. As set in his ways as Moron is, the issue with alcohol is going to cause some problems. He will lie and promise to stop drinking, but will still drink when he is out. She will get fed up with him, but how will that play out? Will the Muslim traditional "man is in charge of the family" thing hold? As westernized as Turkish society is toward marriage and divorce, I wonder if she will want to put up with him. I don't have much hope for the marriage. Telling her he is a cop and makes good money is supposed to sell her on him. She probably thinks a cop will be more responsible. Nobody would expect a policeman to be the sort of person Moron is. This will be interesting. I thought she looked nice in the photos. Maybe someone will give Moron a Stairmaster as a wedding gift.
Update: Even Vulture called him a moron!

I shouldn't find this funny but I do. They asked this kid why he killed the meatball seller. He said:
"He was always around my mom. It was making me mad."
That shouldn't be funny, but it cracked me up. And then the kicker was:
"They didn't tell me he was my father."
It is so stupid that it cracks me up. Talk about emotional immaturity! "It was making me mad" was the reason he stabbed the man and threw him off a bridge. And he expected people to find this reasonable.
To be fair to the kid, he is not much worse than Moron or many of the other people in the show. Sevket might say the same thing. Or Berserk. But they have a bit more self control. They stop just short of murder when they get angry.
