Discuss Project Runway All Stars

The good: My favorite was the graphic gray suit from the Australian. The lines on that jacket were amazing.

Second goes to the Mountie look. Yes it was literal but the proportions were spot on. The strong shoulder is back, I or so I've read.

Dmitri added just the right detail to avoid looking too peasant dress.

Seth Aaron's look was very Daryl Hannah in Blade Runner. One of my favorite films.

I was not a fan of Irina's look. Yes it had impact but I agree with Isaac, chicken costume at kids party. Worse, I didn't see her inspiration at all.

The bad:

I think I'm going to hate Django Eurotrash. He's just so fashion forward in that European way, doncha know, these judges just won't get him. His asymmetric skirt and weird white sleeve look were just strange.

Michelle should have been in the bottom. A glittery bolero over a very basic white muslin looking dress.

Anya does not belong here. She cannot design or sew anything but a flowy beach dress. Least deserving winner in show history.

Anthony got very lucky. There is no excuse for what he showed. He should have been eliminated.

I guess I forgot to post this week. Let's see if I can remember the looks.........

You better be on it this week, because you got two shows to watch!

Oh yes, the climate outfits.

I thought Michelle and Irina were the only ones who really got this challenge. I didn't love AR but his piece did do a weather transformation. But really, short sleeve at Whistler? And his usual color combo.

I totally agree about Dmitry. Another boho dress. I think he completely failed the challenge, like the guy earlier who used only one color in the 2 color challenge. He should have gone home.

Christina's was too fussy but not the worst look. I can't remember Biddell's but it wasn't good.

Oh, and Isaac is right, Michelle could use that skirt/raincoat idea as a signature item for a brand. All kinds of possibilities there. She is really nailing it.

I agree.

I could see myself wearing Bidell and Christina's look over all of that other mess.

What did he do? I just can't picture it.

Here are the looks:

The winner: Michelle

I'm sorry but I just can't see the beauty in that.

The runner-up: Irina

Just looks like a someone wrapped a bunch of fabric around the model's head.

Anthony Ryan: Whistler

I'm surprised Isac went off on his pet, Ryan's look.

Dmitry:

Dmitry

He should have been dragged in the mud for that.

Christina:

Loser

So, this was the worst outfit!

Biddell

Biddell

I thought Biddell's swimsuit looked like jockey underwear that I might have worn in my 20's. I would have put him and Dmitri in the bottom. I think Michele deserved the win. Christina's swimsuit did look cheap. Her dress was divine though.

It was too drab for me.

Hmmm... at least, she used fabric. Anthony used burlap, and it couldn't get any cheaper than that.

We really liked Irina's look. It screamed Morocco which fits her resort perfectly. We disagreed with the criticisms of her colors. Yes, they were not traditionally harmonious to Western eyes. But, other cultures have different perceptions of color.

Michelle's was cute and fit her challenge well.

While we liked Anthony Ryan's as a design, we think it completely failed the challenge. Why he thought a bare arm would be appropriate for a ski resort we have no idea.

We liked Christina's look. Her swim suit wasn't the best, but overall it was lovely.

We did not like Biddell's at all. It didn't say resort in any way at all.

If Biddell's was bad, Dmitry's was a complete failure. How he thought carrying a jacket was a transformational look we have no idea. And it was a lot like his other work this season.

My wife and I are leaving for Costume-Con next Sunday, so we won't be online much for a couple of weeks. We will probably have to watch the next episodes and the new Bravo series on demand after we get back. There is no free time at a Costume-Con. We are competing in one competition, running another and I am the MC for a third.

Good luck to you and have a great trip

Thanks. Its a fun convention, even if we get very little sleep. Lots of things to learn and compete in. And we get to see friends we only see once or twice a year.

I've been to Morocco, and I haven't seen anyone walking around in those colors in modern day. That's the problem. No one is walking around like that at a resort in Morocco, and I think the designers need to be current in their designs.

It's the same coat, but this time he used burlap on one side. SMH.

We did not like Biddell's at all. It didn't say resort in any way at all.

It was current, and it did read resort, albeit a low-end Spring Break College crowd resort.

Yes, I saw that, and they better bring it!
