With a streaming service it's quite possible that viewership will go down but the money he/they get will go UP.

I think the move is probably for the best. This show was always a tough sell on network TV. I think by going to Hulu it could probably get a few more seasons than it would on Fox.

Well I do hope that Comedy Central here in Europe is going to keep broadcasting it I wonder if Hulu is even available in Europe otherwise we might be ending up with a DIS -TPS -CBS All Access/Netflix/Amazon Prime situation for The Orville

It was bad enough having to wait between 'seasons', but I will not pay to see it. It's not a bad show, but it's not good enough to wait until the end of 2020 & pay to see it! That is a BIG FAT NOPE!

The first 2 seasons most didn't. But since season 3 will be going to Hulu & not until the end of 2020. How many viewers do they think will hang around??

But Hulu won't be the only place to get it, and get it for free. The ethics of it might seem different, since when it was on free broadcast, there was no additional money Fox wasn't getting from the free downloaders. But it will still be available for free, for those who just don't want to pay for Hulu.
