@Poetist I am more optimistic about Loren and Alexei. I think most of their drama is made up or exaggerated for TV and that they are doing better than what is being shown.

Well... let's not forget how draining Loren was in S1, and there is a reason Alexi's friends don't like her. With that said, I hope you're right, but they don't really need those two for drama. Dan and Mo give good trainwreck for years!

Danmo is the gift that keeps on giving. I think we are seeing mostly real drama with them.

Why does Danielle lie and say she's not jealous that Mo is out there dating prettier and skinnier women? The statement "prettier and skinnier" shows that she is jealous, because if she didn't care, she wouldn't have mentioned their looks.
By the way, IG banned Anfisa's account. She started another one and surprisingly has fans.

She tells herself she is no longer jealous but she is in denial. Lots of people do that, sadly. She still has strong feelings, love and hate at this point. She is also humiliated at being used.

I guess I'm just trying to give him the benefit of the doubt with the language barrier thing, but yeah, it is obvious that because of his culture and the way he was raised that he believes a woman's place is in the home, raising the children, cooking meals, and being a "good wife." Unfortunately, most American women aren't like that anymore. Could he find someone like that here if he tried? Sure, but that's not who he chose, and he can't continue being so rigid in his views. Something somewhere is going to have to give, and it's not going to continue to be her. At some point, she's going to decide she's had enough, and they're going to have a real argument/fight, and not these baby spats they're currently having.

Doesn't surprise me at all that she has fans. Mo has lots of them too. So do prison inmates. There is no accounting for taste

OMFG!!! Too funny!!! Yes, people like watching the drama. And yes, weirdly, people (usually women) like to get involved with inmates. They seem to try and convince themselves that they're "the one" who can change the man and help him become a better person. And maybe depending on the circumstances of why the person is in prison, that's true, but most of the time they're deluding themselves.

Woops sorry I was here and bailed. I agree with what a lot of others say.
-- Jorge and Anfisa. I mean. She does seem sort of funny sometimes..I think he just likes having her around. But why he tolerates her screaming BS is beyond me. If he put his foot down and stood up to her (not in a violent way of course) I think she'd back off some. But she knows she can shriek like a harpee and he'll still come crawling back. At the same time, um....I don't get his confusion. He lied to her saying he was a millionaire who could spoil her endlessly. So that's why she liked him, which he knew. So now that he knows she knows he's in debt, he's all "I don't know, I mean, maybe she doesn't really care about me...people should care about someone regardless of money..." That kind of stuff. It's like dude you promised her millions and that IS why she is with you. Yeah she "should" care and all but you didn't pick a woman like that, you picked one who wanted to be spoiled and rich. And now you're confused she's upset that you're in debt and lied to her about your money? K...
-- Pedro and Chantel. I fast forward through most of theirs.
-- Paola and Russ. Paola is being kind of a jerk, I think. Not fair to him. He may be conservative and yes she moved to a different country but she seems to totally want to have her cake and eat it, too, while still pretending to care about Russ. She just 100% wants what she wants and is going to make it happen. And her annoying friend who just likes being mean, coming on and saying "We all know this was just for a green card!" She laughed but didn't seem too shaken by that...makes ya think... I mean a part of her likes/tolerates Russ, I think. She doesn't hate him. But I think she's still kinda using him so she can just live the fun life of a model in America/Miami.
-- Loren and Alexi. I agree Alexi seems overly traditional for Loren. I think he should move back to Israel, he seems partial to being there with their customs and ways and those friends, his family, all that. I don't see their marriage lasting, either. They just seem to go from one fight to the next. And she seems to get upset so easily and isn't quite honest. I think she just thought he was hot. And he...I don't know. He doesn't even seem to like her half the time.
-- Danielle and Mohammed. I mean what can be said. Like has been said before, they're both fairly unsympathetic and deserve each other. I don't like users or manipulators but I can't help but secretly root for Mohammed in all this. He just seems more rational/intelligent I guess. Though we all know he never had intentions of staying with her, he just wanted a green card. And his sense of entitlement to stay in the US just because he wants to is interesting, though I can understand it. But Danielle obvs doesn't want to let him go, even if it means taunting and baiting him with this annulment crap till the end of time. If she has a boyfriend, then it makes no sense for her to get mad at him for taking a picture with another woman. She makes no sense. I guess she just still wants her hot (half her age) Tunisian hubby and since he is so not into her she is doing what she can to still force him to be a part of her life. Ugh. Her teenage daughters are so done with it.

I have to wonder if she wants to be thought of as some kind of sexy cougar (Danielle). She has tons of issues though, and you can see by how her family doesn't tolerate her crap that she's probably had lots of failed relationships, OR has done other things that bring her thought process into question. But the fact that most of her family want nothing to do with her says a lot. I didn't see much of the first season, so can anyone fill me in on her first husband? Are they divorced, or is he dead? Because I have to wonder who raised their kids. Not knowing the situation, and just taking a guess, I'm thinking the father raised the kids? Because she doesn't seem capable of looking after them and if they are divorced, it wouldn't surprise me if he got custody because she was seen as an unfit mother. She can hardly take care of herself.
You're right about Jorge. He's just trying to play the victim and nobody is buying it. She told him straight out when he asked her if she'd stay with him if he didn't have money and she told him flat out that she wouldn't. She told him that he promised her money and a good life and would buy her whatever she wanted. He married her anyway. He's an idiot and he's whipped, plain and simple. What's funny though, is that she doesn't like being called out on this fact. Look at how she acts/behaves whenever the sister calls her out. She runs away. She knows she's a gold digger but she can't handle being called this. Most other women would shake off what the sister says and look at the sister like, "So? Your brother knew this and married me anyway. This is his problem, not yours, so eff off." But for whatever reason, she can't handle people telling her to her face that she's nothing but a gold digger and a whore (the sister's words, not mine). Which means somewhere inside of her she has some insecurities or she wouldn't let what the sister (or anyone watching the show) says bother her as much as it does. Look what happened at the first reunion. She got upset when she found out that so many viewers think she's a shallow, heartless bitch, and tried to blame the show and the editing process. Sorry, but the editing only goes so far. After a point, her true nature is still going to shine through, and that is what everyone is seeing, and her trying to say that she's not really like that isn't true. And if she really doesn't like how she's being portrayed, then she should think about that and change her behavior. But she's not changing her behavior, so...

Dani and Mo only did it once? Maybe she can't claim the marriage wasn't consummated but it does bolster her fraud claim. Wow, it just keeps getting better.

You're surprised they only did it once? I'm not. I'm surprised they did it at all. Kind of like how I'm surprised Jorge and Anfisa have done it at all. I would have thought she'd have kept him dangling.

I think Anfisa gives just enough sugar to keep Jorge in thrall. As for Danmo, while I didn't imagine them swinging from the chandeliers, I would have thought he'd put out once in a while, if only to keep up the fraud. She said that they had sex when she visited in Doha and he did not deny it.

There was no mention of a husband or babby daddy. I'm thinking the Dan's kids have more than one dad.
I think she can feed and boared kids. She worked at a group home, but then she got fired or something. However, I got the impression that she worked at more than one of them.
